The Transportation Department is responsible for providing the bussing needs of the District and for keeping all of the buses in tip top condition. A recent report from New York State revealed that the Malone CSD bus fleet has a passing rate of 98.9% on the first try, well above the State standard of 90%.

Malone CSD Transportation Policy

Should circumstances change throughout the year, students would be able to sign up for bussing at any time, with the understanding that it could take up to five business days to implement these changes.

1) Students may have a single point of pick up and drop off with one alternate site.

2) Assigned seating will be left to driver discretion.

3) Use the home base school for the walking policy. The district's walking policy can be found on the Transportation page (www.malonecsd.org/transportation.html) along with for walking maps.

In the 2024-25 school year, we will again have one bus run.
