At St. Joseph’s, we love recognizing students who go above and beyond to show kindness, respect, and positive character! Each week, we celebrate our Bucket Fillers—students who have been nominated for demonstrating our monthly character theme.
On Fridays, Principal Mrs. Dupree shares a special message about each honoree. Their smiling faces are also proudly displayed on our Bucket Filling Wall for the whole school to see!
The Bucket Filling Program is a wonderful way to encourage social and emotional growth in students. It’s based on the idea that we all have an invisible bucket that holds good thoughts and feelings about ourselves. When we show kindness and respect, we fill not only our own bucket but also the buckets of those around us!
