Recently, Davis Elementary welcomed the Franklin County Soil and Water Conservation District for an exciting and educational demonstration on erosion. Using a hands-on stream table, students explored the fascinating process of how water carries sediment downstream. They also gained insights into the workings of floodplains and had the opportunity to try their hands at stream engineering with model culverts and bridges.
