On March 28, Chandler Fefee, a student-athlete from Section X, was selected to represent Malone Central School District at the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) Leadership Conference in Albany. The event held over 200 of the state's finest student-athletes, including athletic directors like Reginald McDonald, to cultivate leadership skills and foster positive impacts within their teams, schools, and communities.

Throughout the conference, keynote speakers delivered presentations on personal growth and leadership development, emphasizing the importance of empowering oneself to better support others purposefully. Attendees engaged in leadership activities, networking opportunities, and interactive sessions with NYSPHSAA Executive and Assistant Directors, enriching their understanding of effective leadership strategies.

Fefee, serves as a cornerstone of leadership both on and off the field. With achievements as a varsity player in soccer, basketball, and lacrosse, along with active involvement in the National Honor Society, Epilson Society, and his role as Junior Class President, he showcases dedication and excellence in all his endeavors. Maintaining an outstanding cumulative grade point average of 4.29 (97.58) while tackling AP and honors courses.

Fefee's participation in the NYSPHSAA Leadership Conference not only reflects his personal commitment to growth and leadership but also highlights Malone Central School District's dedication to nurturing well-rounded individuals who positively impact their communities.
